Overview
BehavioUral Management Program (BUMP) Clinical Psychologist role at NSW Health.
This permanent part-time position provides evidence-based behavioural interventions, supports older patients across rehab and aged care, and educates carers and families.
What You'll Be Doing
Join the Behavioural Management Program as a Clinical Psychologist supporting patients in aged care, stroke and rehabilitation at Blacktown and Mount Druitt hospitals.
Assess and manage behavioural disturbances.
Develop tailored behavioural care plans.
Deliver evidence-based interventions.
Conduct cognitive screening assessments.
Support and educate carers and families.

Remuneration: $55.09 - $67.15 per hour
Hours Per Week: 19 (Job share may be considered for part-time hours)

Essential Criteria
Full registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia.
Completion of an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council accredited postgraduate Clinical Psychology qualification of no less than two years full-time duration or recognised equivalent.
WHS Responsibilities: take reasonable care for yourself and others and comply with work health safety policies and procedures.
WWCC: Current Working with Children Check Clearance (where applicable).
NPC: National Police Check (to be conducted by Health Service for Recommended Candidates).
Selection Criteria
Masters or Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology with general registration and specialist endorsement in Clinical Psychology or working towards endorsement.
Knowledge of working with cognitive impairment, dementia and BPSD, including formulating behavioural management plans.
Experience in cognitive screening and/or neuropsychological assessments and report-writing.
Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team and exercising independent professional judgement.
Ability to initiate, lead, complete and share quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation with staff.
Computer literacy including MS Office and health databases/systems.
