**About the opportunity**
The Administration Assistant reports to the Production Estimating Manager and is part of the Estimating team. The key focus of the role will be to provide support to the wider Production Estimating team. More specifically, your responsibilities will include:

- Analyse construction plans and review project documentation.
- Request & follow up required quotes from suppliers/sub-contractors for Estimators.
- Coordinate amendments to ensure documentation is consistent before going into construction.
- Issue and maintain purchase orders in accordance with the current Purchasing / Supplier agreements and methods of measurement
- Maintain budget order documentation in software
- Complete subcontractor and credit invoices
- Build positive relationships and communicate with internal and external stakeholders
- Perform other associated administrative duties including monitoring the Engineering and Scheduling inbox and following up on a range of requests and queries
- To support your development, the company would provide financial support to complete Cert IV in Building and Construction after the qualifying period.

**About you**
To be successful in this highly rewarding role you will demonstrate alignment to the purpose and core values of the NEX Group along with:

- Experience in administration, preferably within construction or building industry
- Committed to completion of Cert IV Building and Construction
- Exceptional computer skills with a medium to advanced knowledge of Excel
- Outstanding attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines and strive to reach targets
- Strong numeracy skills
- Desire to build a long-term career in construction
