Estimating and Pricing Leader

We are seeking an experienced Estimating and Pricing Leader to drive career growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic guidance to capture managers, program teams, and other relevant staff in the development of estimates and priced proposals.
  • Lead the financial input in pre-proposal planning activities to ensure technical and cost/pricing approaches are consistent.
  • Participate in work breakdown structure development, WBS dictionary creation, and program scheduling.
  • Develop and issue cost estimating instructions and ground rules in consultation with relevant parties.
  • Establish and manage proposals within approved pricing tools.
  • Assist in supplier pack development and review, including flow down of financial requirements.
  • Conduct estimating reviews and pricing reviews with stakeholders.
  • Coordinate key estimating and pricing assumptions used in estimate development.
  • Process cost data, perform cost analysis, and support management/gate reviews.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience improving processes, systems, or products to enhance work area performance.
  • Complex analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of GAAP/Accounting principles, US GAAP, financial accounting requirements, government financial principles, and analytical and estimating techniques.
  • University degree in Finance or equivalent discipline suitable for this role.
  • Commerce, Business, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 6 years prior relevant experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of cost estimating.
  • Experience presenting to senior leaders or training peers.
