You can learn more about us here : ;About the role :We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions on the Azure platform.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data warehousing architecture and design , coupled with hands-on expertise across Azures modern data stack.
This role requires a deep understanding of ETL / ELT processes, data modeling, and performance optimization to deliver high-quality, reliable, and accessible data for analytics and reporting.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain data warehouse solutions on the Azure platform.Develop, manage, and optimize ETL / ELT workflows using Azure Data Factory and related tools.Work extensively with Azure Synapse Analytics , Azure Data Lake Storage (Gen2) , and SQL Server to ingest, process, and store data.Write and optimize T-SQL queries to support data processing and analytics.Design and implement data models (star schema, snowflake schema) for reporting and analytics.Integrate structured and semi-structured data from a variety of sources, including APIs, flat files, and on-premises databases.Collaborate with BI teams to support Power BI reporting solutions.Ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability of data pipelines and solutions.Contribute to data governance, security, and compliance best practices.Nice to have) Apply CI / CD practices and use DevOps tools for data workflows, including version control with Git .
Key Skills & ExperienceEssential :Proven experience in data warehousing architecture and design , preferably on the Azure platform.Strong, hands-on experience with :Azure Synapse AnalyticsAzure Data FactoryAzure Data Lake Storage (Gen2)T-SQL and SQL ServerProficiency in ETL / ELT workflow development and management .
Experience in Power BI reporting.Strong understanding of data modeling techniques (star schema, snowflake schema) and performance optimization.Experience integrating structured and semi-structured data from multiple sources.Desirable :Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines and DevOps for data .
