We're seeking 4 x skilled and motivated Data Engineers to join a project in Perth for a 5 day a week onsite role. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our data platform using Microsoft Fabric, Azure, and Lakehouse architecture. You'll design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines, while supporting business intelligence initiatives through Power BI reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines to support analytics and reporting needs.
  • Implement and maintain
    Lakehouse architecture
    following the
    Medallion model
    (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers).
  • Work with
    Microsoft Fabric
    and
    Azure Data Services
    (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake).
  • Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into data solutions.
  • Optimize and monitor data workflows for performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Develop and maintain
    Power BI
    datasets and dashboards for self-service and operational reporting.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance best practices are followed.

Key Skills & Experience

Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role

Strong hands-on experience with
Microsoft Fabric
and
Azure Data Services

Deep understanding of
Lakehouse architecture
and the
Medallion data model

Experience building and maintaining
data pipelines (ETL/ELT)
in cloud environments

Proficiency in
SQL
,
Python
, and data transformation tools

Experience integrating and delivering data into
Power BI
for reporting

Familiarity with data governance, security, and DevOps best practices
