As a seasoned data engineer, you will design and develop scalable data solutions in Microsoft Azure based on business requirements. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance existing pipelines, create new ones, and optimize the architecture to support analytics and reporting needs.
- Develop comprehensive data products in Microsoft Azure aligned with business objectives.
- Design and implement efficient ETL solutions using Azure Synapse Analytics or Informatica.
- Automate workflows for data ingestion, processing, and transformation using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Pipelines, or Informatica.
- Establish semantic data models for silver and gold layers of the Data Lake.
- Implement robust data validation, cleansing, and security measures to ensure high-quality, secure data.
- Manage complex Data Warehouses and Data Lakes using Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Data Fabric.
- Build real-time streaming data solutions via Azure Stream Analytics or Azure Event Hubs.
- Create and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve critical data pipeline and storage issues.
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering with expertise in SQL and Python.
- Strong understanding of data modeling techniques (dimensional modeling, star schema).
- Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders to identify and map data requirements.
- Relevant certifications such as Azure Data Engineer Associate.
- Excellent stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
