**The Opportunity**

We are looking for a Health Safety and Environment Specialist who will be accountable for Implementing and maintain programs to provide a healthy and safe working environment and system and process for all personnel and contractors on site.

This is a 3 months initial contract, a fantastic opportunity in Brisbane Airport for anyone looking for the right development and exposure to a high-risk environment.

**The roles and responsibilities of HSE Specialist will include**:

- Conduct various HSE risk assessments, as needed.
- Provide employees with health, safety, environmental, and workers' compensation information and advises.
- Create, implement, and maintain a site Safety Management Plan.
- Keep detailed records of all workplace injuries and illnesses.
- Conduct plant and safety audits, identify hazards and implement accident prevention programs.

**To be successful at this role you will have**:

- Sustained experience in an WHS & E position.
- Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.
- Worked within multi-function environment including construction.
- Practical knowledge and experience in HSEW guidelines.
- Effective time management skills.
