Our company is seeking a Senior HSE Advisor to provide expert health, safety and environmental guidance to our project teams.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant field or significant experience in a similar role, along with excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of national and international Health and Safety legislation.

This role involves developing and implementing HSE management systems aligned to local and international standards, as well as providing technical support for electronic data management systems.

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Providing specialist advice and assistance to all regions where required
  • Developing, reviewing and implementing Project HSE Management Plans, risk registers, operational procedures and programs
  • Maintaining knowledge of applicable legal and other HSE requirements governing operational scope
  • Ensuring copies of relevant system documentation are available, current and being used
  • Researching, developing and implementing HSE programs to address project specific issues
Requirements
  • Degree qualified or significant relevant experience
  • Current driver's license
  • Certificate IV Trainer and Assessor
  • Workplace rehabilitation and return to work coordinator
Essential Skills and Knowledge
  • Exposure to national and international Health and Safety legislation
  • Development and implementation of HSE management systems aligned to local and international standards
  • Computer literate - intermediate level, ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and web-based programs
  • Interpersonal skills and good communication
  • A minimum of 3 years in a similar role in the resources sector engineering and services industry
