**Description**:
**The Role**:
As the Operational Excellence Lead, you will be instrumental in empowering our Operations team to achieve and sustain high performance. Leveraging data-driven insights, you will identify and implement improvement opportunities that enhance safety, quality, and efficiency while aligning with our broader business objectives. Your role will involve analysing operational data and workflows, initiating and supporting improvement initiatives, and monitoring key performance metrics to drive measurable and sustainable results. Standard hours are Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm, with flexibility to accommodate operational requirements.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Analyse workflows and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Lead and support cross-functional improvement teams.
Implement initiatives to reduce rework, improve yield and quality and increase efficiency.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure sustainable change.
Monitor and report on key operational metrics and project outcomes.
**About You**:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience in a similar role within the manufacturing sector is highly valued, though not a strict requirement
Capable of identifying and implementing solutions to drive improvements in Labour Efficiency and Raw Material Wastage.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel with strong expertise in advanced functions and data manipulation.
Knowledge in 5s methodology, Root Cause Analysis, Lean Manufacturing principles, Kaizen, JIT or Six Sigma practices
Intermediate-level skills in Power BI for data visualization and reporting - highly regarded
