Job Description:

As a Regional Operations Manager, you will lead the performance management of Defence business units through proven P&L leadership, achieving contractual compliance across operations and estate management. You will drive commercial and business unit level improvements and transformation programs, while growing the overall business through leveraged growth of Defence contracts and allied opportunities.

The role involves providing FY commercial leadership and operational management of SE regional business in direct support of Project Director (GM SE/SA Defence). Direct shared P&L accountability for SE Regional aggregated budgets with circa $300m value.

You will develop and lead direct P&L Contract EMOS Managers and their businesses with strong strategic and operational leadership, advice, and process improvement. Strategically support regional oversight for delivery of operational services, project management, and revenue growth.

Deliver whole of regional business recommendations and efficiencies leading to balanced outcomes, mitigating risk, reducing costs, and maintaining contract compliance. Build and maintain excellent working partnerships with internal and external key stakeholders by providing high-level advice and support focused on organizational excellence.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualification and/or significant experience in Operational and P&L Leadership roles within mixed solution workforces, Asset Solutions, Project Management, and Operations Management
  • Demonstrated knowledge of complex scalable client solutions leadership within asset management and facilities management
  • Demonstrated management and organisational skills
  • Collaborative and consultative processes at a professional level
  • Interpersonal communication skills and team management ability
  • Ability to identify and promote key talent and provide targeted step-up opportunities
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders
