Goodstart's Teaching and Learning for All Children Expert Service is a key contributor that enable our organisation to achieve its goals and objectives for high quality early learning. The Teacher Program Manager is a key member of this team.
Your Impact;
Develop, manage and evaluate overarching program initiatives and collateral to support Goodstart teachers at the differing points in their teacher experience.
Design and evaluate professional learning content and lead teacher networking, professional development sessions aligned to national/state perspectives and meet teacher accreditation/ registration needs/requirements.
Provide guidance, support and resources to key stakeholders to enhance ways of working.
Recognise and respond to safety issues proactively and support centres to comply with all legislation that applies to children - Child Protection, National Regulations and Workplace Health and safety.
Maintain currency of Goodstart Teacher Registration/Accreditation procedures for centres and teachers and support teacher registration/accreditation compliance audits.
Work with the Learning and Development Team to collaboratively design and deliver professional learning opportunities for centre-based staff as required.
Work with the required the People team in the attraction and retention of teachers and maintain the Teacher Professional Program Intranet page
Support inclusive practices in centre's educational program and practice.
Promote quality and continuous improvement in early childhood education and care within the organisation.
You'll bring to the table;
Minimum 4-year Early Childhood qualification from a recognised university.
Extensive and recent practice-based early childhood teacher education experience (aged birth to 8 years).
Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, other State based approved/recognised learning guidelines and the National Quality Standard.
Teacher registration/ accreditation at proficient level (NSW, SA, VIC, WA, QLD)
Working knowledge of, or the ability to acquire, the relevant State or Territory legislation and National Quality Framework.
Experience of supporting a team and being a team member.
Sound understanding of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.
