The Role
We are looking for a confident, compassionate and adaptable Relief Teacher to join our team. If you are seeking a position that offers flexibility and you have a passion for inclusive learning, we want to hear from you.
As a Relief Teacher, you'll:
- Teach Years 7–12 students with diverse and complex needs
- Deliver flexible, engaging learning programs
- Support students' academic and emotional development
- Maintain student records and write progress reports
- Apply trauma-informed and inclusive classroom practices
- Collaborate with staff and contribute to a positive school culture
About You
You will be a supportive teacher, keen to adapt learning styles for students with diverse and complex needs. In addition, you will have:
- A current registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia (TRBWA).
- A teaching qualification from an accredited initial teacher education program or from a program recognised by the TRBWA as equivalent
- Oral and written abilities proficient to the prescribed standard in English.
- Meet the professional standards for teachers at the Graduate level, with expertise in a major and minor field of teaching.
- Demonstrated administration skills including report writing, program development and maintaining student files
- Proven positive classroom behaviour management
- Team-oriented mindset and excellent interpersonal skills
