**About this position**

This role supports the planning, implementation, and evaluation of programs and events under the supervision of the Seniors Development Officer.

**Some core tasks include**:

- Providing input into the Seniors 55+ Quarterly Activities Brochure
- Collaborating on initiatives that enrich the lives of seniors
- Developing and maintaining effective relationships across departments, with service providers, government agencies, and community groups
- Supervising service delivery, including after-hours support and day-to-day operations, with guidance from the supervisor

This position is based at Addie Mills Centre in Gosnells.

**What we are looking for**

To be successful you must be able to demonstrate:

- The ability and experience in coordinating community programs for seniors or relevant customer base.
- Highly developed verbal and written skills and ability to provide information that is correct, factual and timely.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines and prioritise competing demands.
- The ability to work effectively as a member of a small team, exercising initiative and judgment whilst working with mínimal supervision.

**Essential requirements**
- Current Driver's licence
- First Aid Qualification

**Desirable role requirements**
- Certificate IV in Community Services/Aged Care or relevant tertiary qualifications.
- Aged care and senior services knowledge.
