The role:

- Implement a targeted sales plan, developed in collaboration with the Sales Manager, to achieve sales, profit, and growth objectives within the assigned territory.
- Conduct regular customer visits in line with the sales plan, offering tailored product recommendations and engineering solutions to meet customer requirements, while promoting value-added services such as spare parts, equipment hire, and service contracts.
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities by leveraging market intelligence, tender platforms, and leads from upcoming construction or infrastructure projects.
- Prepare accurate sales orders, reports, and all necessary documentation to meet branch operational standards and customer expectations.
- Contribute to the broader sales team by attending regular sales meetings, sharing insights, and providing updates on progress through CRM systems.
- Represent Xylem at marketing events, industry exhibitions, sales promotions, and trade shows to strengthen brand visibility and grow the customer base.
- Ensure all sales activities align with Xylem's pricing strategies and adhere to Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) and Quality Assurance standards.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers, addressing technical queries and service needs promptly, fostering long-term relationships and encouraging repeat business.

About you:

- Qualification in Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or related Fields.
- Prior Proven Experience in an External Sales role with experience in generating leads.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to successfully communicate with customers.
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing demands, and consistently meet deadlines.
