**About the role**

In this newly created role, as a Salesforce Technical Consultant, you will play a vital role across the B&D Group. You continually improve and enhance our Salesforce platform. This is a hands
- on and dual role, you will be responsible for the technical avenues of Salesforce B&D Group and will play an important role in the evolution of B&D's Salesforce platform as well as the day to day development. You will engage in building capabilities that enable the current and future needs of our business.

You will also collaborate with the rest of the Salesforce team in maintaining the operation, integrity and overall health of B&D's Salesforce environments. This will include activities such as solutioning, testing, release management and other related tasks.

**Responsibilities**
- Design, develop, test, and implement Salesforce solutions, including custom Apex code, Lightning components, OmniStudio, Visualforce pages, and integrations.
- Assist with Salesforce Support for break fix as well as changes and enhancements.
- Customise and configure Salesforce features, objects, fields, and workflows to meet specific business needs.
- Perform data migrations and data quality assessments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Salesforce configurations and code.

**Skills & Experience**
- Demonstrated experience as a Salesforce Developer, with a strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and best practices
- Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and other Salesforce technologies
- Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and II are preferable
- Excellent organisation skills and interpersonal skills
