**About the Opportunity**
As the Product Coordinator for Motor Insurance, you will support the delivery of the Department's revenue and growth objectives by providing product and operational support to the Motor Insurance team and contributing to the key project activities.
This role is essential for supporting the Motor Insurance Team in delivering on the department's acquisition & retention objectives.
This position will assist in ensuring all product related material is accurate and approved in an efficient and timely way, risks are identified & monitored and existing & new campaigns are developed, executed and measured to acquire & retain members.
Attention to detail and relationship management skills are critical to the success of this role.
A passion for working within digital channels and learning on-the-go are just as important.
Key responsibilities:
- Day to day co-ordination and alignment of market insights, product planning, collateral review and liaison with IMA.
- Ensure processes, reviews and approvals are as efficient as possible for Motor Insurance product development and campaign activity by:
- Reviewing all Marketing/ Channel activity as the product SME
- Acting as the interface with IMA/ IAG for product approvals
- Escalating to the Product Managers with feedback that appears misaligned to product objectives
- Compile a monthly competitor report in conjunction with Product Analysts, Product Managers and IMA
- Maintain the product roadmap, in conjunction with all team members
- Support on incident/ issue/ risk management processes as required
- Support research activities to identify high growth potential market segments and opportunities to improve current product offering
- Coordinate workshops and key cross functional stakeholders to contribute to the delivery of product initiatives to market
- Assist in developing supporting documentation, training material and work with channel managers to assist with the launch of new products, campaigns and processes
- Support Motor Insurance Senior Acquisition & Retention Manager and Motor Insurance Manager in the delivery of key initiatives and product development
**What you'll need to be successful**
- Business, marketing or related tertiary qualification desirable
- 1-2 years' experience in Insurance is highly desirable
- 1-2 years' experience in a sales/marketing environment is desirable
- Knowledge of market requirements across traditional, online and social media platforms, and how to utilize these channels for product performance
- Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to gain the confidence of and work with senior management and executive management
- Outstanding organisational skills
- Excellent time management skills, demonstrating the ability to work effectively on multiple projects and manage competing demands
- Strong stakeholder & relationship management skills and working collaboratively in cross functional projects and teams
