This is a part-time / Freelance hybrid role for a Production Coordinator located in Melbourne, VIC, with the flexibility to work from home as necessary. The Production Coordinator will manage day-to-day production tasks, including production planning, coordinating schedules, overseeing production processes, and ensuring timely project completion. They will also be involved in communication with suppliers, team members, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operational flow.

Responsibilities
  • Create and manage the company critical path
  • Raise production orders and submit to manufacturers
  • Negotiate final pricing with manufacturers
  • Create and maintain production schedules
  • Weekly production updates with factories, chasing submissions, samples, freight bookings
  • Manage all bookings/communication with freight forwarder
  • Track shipments to ensure on time delivery launch dates
  • Prepare report for fortnightly sales meeting
  • Create barcodes in GS1
  • Manage samples requirements from production with factories
  • Support with 3PL management, ASN's, deliveries, launches and order processing
  • Book in deliveries with warehouse and create ASN
  • Load stock on to Shopify prior to launches
  • Review new products created in Shopify through to website
  • Garment wash tests as required to create care label instructions
  • Support with customer service quality issues
  • Process of all factory shipping documents
  • Manage factory payment schedule
  • Coordinate fit sessions
  • Prioritise garment techwork
  • Check freight invoices
  • Updates for weekly production meeting
  • Responsible for checking and approving all shipment samples in line with approved pre- production samples with manufacturers, ensuring that quality, fit, fabrication and labelling are all correct
Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Production Planning and Production Management skills
  • Project Management and Organization skills
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in the fashion industry or similar role is a must
