**Your new company**

You will be working for a NSW government agency that oversees, regulates and monitors organisations and individuals that provide services to children and people with disability.

**Your new role**

As a Registration Officer, you will be part of the NDIS Worker Check team, which screens workers that provide services and supports to people with disability under the NDIS. You will be responsible for:

- Determining the appropriateness of proof of identity information
- Determining the appropriate course of action in accordance with relevant legislation, policies and procedures
- Ensuring that procedural fairness and a customer-focused service is afforded to applicants
- Making consistent, considered and evidence-based recommendations
- Ensuring appropriate knowledge and adherence to security, privacy and record keeping requirements
- Managing competing priorities and meeting statutory and/or agreed timeframes
- Collaborating with peers to ensure consistent practice across the team

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Experience in working in a high-volume and time-constrained environment
- Ability to analyse information and make sound recommendations
- Ability to exercise judgement and discretion
- Ability to work in accordance with relevant legislation, policies and procedures
- Ability to be considered and decisive, technically competent, and have strong customer service skills

Contract duration will be approximately 12 months. Pay rate for this role will be $41.18ph + super and will be in based near Central Station.
