**The Opportunity**

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Supervisor -Shutcrew - Pilbara Support Team. It will be a FIFO, on 8/6 Roster, this permanent role will allow you to access OEM training while you build a long-term career in a global company. Reporting to the Pilbara Support Coordinator, you will work as part of a team and drive the reliability and availability of the mobile fleet across the region, while keeping an impeccable safety record.

**You will also**:

- Partake in the coordination and supervision of the implementation of Hitachi projects, shut downs, planned maintenance and day to day activities of Hitachi Pilbara Support Technicians
- Actively ensure safety improvements are driven and document the key learnings
- Supervise and mentor the technicians with their work and activities
- Provide Supervision for onsite shuts / projects / annual leave and workshop supervision as required
- Drive change and implement safety procedures, quality control measures and SWP improvements
- Implement job package assembly and ensure all relevant pre work checks, paperwork and assessments are in place and completed before, during and after the job
- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve, performance, equipment reliability and lower maintenance costs

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- Relevant Diesel or Mobile Plant Mechanic trade qualifications
- Previous experience in a Supervisory Role with front line operational staff, with an understanding labour recovery principles
- Working knowledge of planning and scheduling with the ability to deliver in tight time frames
- Demonstrated background experience with Hitachi mobile equipment will be highly regarded
- Good communication and customer service skills and the ability to build long term relationships
- Safety focus and abide by site safety processes
