Job Description Summary

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Supervisor to join Service Stream's team based in Welshpool and Kwinana Beach.

You will use your trusted leadership and communication skills to quickly and effectively build relationships across all levels of our projects, including with subcontractors. You will motivate others, ensuring a high-performing culture where teamwork ensures the delivery of exceptional quality outcomes. You will be responsible for leading the subcontractors and labour to safely replace and upgrade assets associated with water and wastewater infrastructure, whilst maintaining a conscious understanding of budget requirements.
About the Role
- Supervising works associated with water and sewer infrastructure such as pump stations and treatment plants
- Arrangement, direction and monitoring of Sub-Contractors, Suppliers, Surveyors, Plant hirers, Labour and material resources for the project
- Organise and perform a range of multi-skilled tasks and provide general maintenance, repairs & subcontractor support
- Liaise with operations personnel to facilitate shutdown and isolation permits within operational requirements
- Support the engineering team with understanding of technical input and implementation
- Ensure all technical, program, quality, environmental, community, industrial, safety and commercial obligations are achieved and maintained on site
- Report all non-conformances and assist recommendations for remedial work
- Maintain daily record and monitoring of site activities and activity costs
- Ensure works are progressed within allocated budgets
- Assist in the guidance of graduate engineers
- Assist in the development and review of SWMS
- Assist in business development activities as required
- Ensure client quality expectations are being met / exceeded
- Participate in formal and contractual meetings with the client and other relevant parties
- Responsible for ensuring that everyone that undertakes work on the project has the correct training and has valid licences
- Responsibility for OH&S, Inductions, Prestart and Toolbox Meetings and Covid reporting
