The new Light Rail connects Westmead to Carlingford via the Parramatta CBD and Camellia, spanning 12 kilometres and utilising state-of-the-art vehicles that delivers comfortable, user-friendly and high-performance services. By 2026, around 28,000 people will use Parramatta Light Rail every day and an estimated 130,000 people will be living within walking distance of light rail stops.

**The role**
- Reporting to the Rolling Stock Supervisor you will be responsible for delivering planned and corrective maintenance activities across the Parramatta Light Rail Vehicle Fleet. This will include in-depth fault finding, servicing and repairs, ensuring vehicle availability and ongoing fleet performance. As part of the role, you will also support the rescue and recovery of vehicles after any incidents / derailments.

**What you bring**
- In addition to your Cert. III in Electrical or Electrotechnology your background will include significant experience working in rolling stock maintenance. Your high-level problem-solving skills will allow you to manage difficult situations including responding to emergencies and restoring assets after incidents. This will be supported by the ability carry out asset inspections and undertake fault finding and ensure asset reliability. Equally important is the ability to engage and build effective working relationships both internally and externally.
