We are looking for an experienced professional to fill the role of Maintenance Technician. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to lead and mentor a high-performing team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that Occupational Health and Safety procedures are followed at all times, overseeing the fault-finding, servicing, and repair of Light Rail Vehicles, training and mentoring staff, leading process improvements, and driving efficiency within the team.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Previous experience in maintenance of rolling stock is preferred but not essential
  • Good computer skills, particularly in MS Office and SAP/GSI
  • Commercially minded and customer-focused
