**The role**
Reporting to the Rolling Stock Supervisor you will be responsible for delivering planned and corrective maintenance activities across the Parramatta Light Rail Vehicle Fleet. This will include in depth electrical fault findings, servicing, and repair of the vehicles to ensure vehicle availability and fleet performance are improved. In addition, you will also be managing incidents and supporting the recovery of the vehicles. There will also be an opportunity to provide input to the testing and commissioning teams and providing expertise and knowledge of rollingstock maintenance.
**What you bring**
In addition to your certification III in Electrical or Electrotechnology Trade and an electrical licence, your background will include demonstration experience working in rolling stock maintenance. Your high-level problem-solving skills will allow you to manage difficult situations including responding to emergencies and restoring assets after incidents. This will be supported by the ability carry out asset inspections and undertake fault finding and ensure asset reliability. Equally important is the ability to engage and build effective working relationships both internally and externally.
