Costs
Cost for the in-person placement: from $1466 USD for the first 2 weeks + from $608 for each week thereafter
Cost for the online placement: from $1081 USD for the first 2 weeks + from $415 for each week thereafter

Introduction
This project is with a surfing-inspired sustainable development non-profit (NGO) driving the development of poor Peruvian coastal communities through sustainability.
We develop environmental, educational, infrastructure and socio-economic projects in collaboration with local communities and international interns.
As a Multidisciplinary Academic Team, we welcome interns from universities around the world to undertake research and contribute to our work in Lobitos.
Interns can develop their own research project aligned with our focus.
Responsibilities
As a Marketing and Communications Intern, you will have ownership of the organization's outreach projects, working alongside directors and other interns to promote our development initiatives.
Daily tasks may vary depending on current projects and may include but are not limited to:
Social media content creation
Photography and videography, including wildlife photography and videos of community events and biodiversity; use of our wildlife camera.
Coordination of the design of promotional material for the organization and its partners; merchandise design.
Communication with our team at home and abroad; engagement with Lobitos community; organizing and promoting workshops and other in-person community events; newsletters and webinars; online fundraising events.
Online program responsibilities (for remote participants): marketing research, content curation for social media and marketing, creation of graphic elements, monitoring engagement, and achieving marketing and communication goals.
