Job Overview:

We are seeking a Volunteer Coordinator to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting managers and staff to enable them to take an innovative approach to volunteer participation that adds value to our services.

  • Lead and maintain a positive culture for volunteers in our Community Health services.
  • Manage the human resource aspect of delivering a volunteer service, including recruitment, selection, orientation, training and placement of volunteers.
  • Support, recognise and reward volunteers as appropriate.
  • Oversight of the administration of the service, including reporting deadlines.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a passion for volunteering.
