Port Melbourne Chargers Womens Football Club is an amateur women's only football club competing in the Victorian Amateur Football Association . Now Recruiting: Development Coaches

We're looking for Development Coaches to provide support across our women's teams. These are flexible roles ideal for those with a passion for player development, skill-building, and supporting coaching on training nights and/or game day.

About You

As a passionate and dedicated member of our Club, you'll bring:

  • A commitment to the Club values of Community, Integrity, Passion, Respect & Excellence
  • Experience in football coaching, mentoring, or skill development
  • The ability to work across multiple teams and age/stage levels
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to be part of a coaching panel
  • Familiarity with VAFA structures and community football environments is advantageous
  • Hold or be willing to obtain a volunteer Working with Children Check

You'll work alongside our Director of Coaching and football operations as part of a collaborative coaching panel. Whether you're an experienced coach or building capability, we'd love to hear from you.

Committe & Leadership Support (cover short-term needs or step into future roles)

Whether you can contribute regularly or just from time to time, we'd love to have you involved. Every role helps build strong foundations for our club. You will:

  • Be part of a welcoming and inclusive culture
  • Make a difference and give back to the local community
  • Develop or donate your knowledge and skills
  • Build your football network and connect with like-minded people
  • Gain valuable hands-on experience in a growing and supportive club
