**The Opportunity**

Melton City Council is seeking a full-time Team Leader to manage the Building Administration Team.

In this role, you will report directly to the Coordinator of Building Services and work closely with them to plan, develop, and deliver a highly effective and responsive Building Services Unit. Your focus will be on achieving positive outcomes for both customers and the community while monitoring performance against key indicators.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide day-to-day supervision and support to Building Administration Officers.
- In conjunction with the coordinator, supervise all aspects of program delivery which include the planning, delivery, monitoring and evaluation stages, in accordance with the needs of the stakeholders.
- Build financial acumen across leadership and staff at Melton; educate, coach and inform to enable staff to better manage finances.
- Lead and oversee the development and implementation of all operational aspects of the role, such as work plans, performance plans, budgets and project plans.

**About you**

**_ To be successful in this role you will have the following:_**
- Tertiary Qualification in Business Administration with some relevant experience or lessor qualification with substantial experience in a business administration environment.
- Supervisory experience and/or a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate staff.
- Demonstrated experience in Building Services functions and procedures.
- Relevant experience in customer service environment.
- Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for building administration and project management.
