As the IT Portfolio Change Specialist, you will be the functional lead across the entire Business IT & Digital Delivery (BITDD) Portfolio. Your primary purpose is to ensure a consistent and effective end-user experience by designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating change management strategies and plans. You will deliver high-quality outcomes from the BITDD portfolio, ensuring alignment with organisational goals through effective leadership, coordination, communication, and collaboration, with a strong emphasis on business readiness and user experience.

**Specifically, you will**:

- Ensure that all change management activities align with the strategic direction of the Portfolio and contribute to the overarching business objectives.
- Engage with key stakeholders to facilitate buy-in and support for change initiatives, ensuring a shared vision and commitment to the end-user experience.
- Lead and support the IT Program Portfolio change management function, including business process change assessment, communications, reporting, scheduling, risk and governance
- Collaborate closely with the IT Portfolio Learning and Testing Specialists to ensure smooth business readiness and service transition, integrating your respective expertise to facilitate a seamless adoption of new technologies across the organisation
- Manage external vendors to ensure the quality of strategies and plans, and fulfilment of commercial obligations.
- Provide coaching and direction to project resources, including third-party change management resources and employee Change Managers, to foster a culture of continuous improvement and user-centric design

Based in Brisbane, you will be joining the Business IT & Digital Delivery group as part of the extensive IT Portfolio of Programs and Projects. This team thrives on a culture of high performance, where each member's dedication to excellence is complemented by a strong emphasis on collaboration, ultimately fostering a dynamic and achievement-oriented environment.

**Your expertise**:

- Degree in a relevant field, such as education, human resources, or information technology, coupled with significant experience.
- PROSCI Change Management Certification or similar

With a proven track record in simultaneously managing multiple work packages, developing and implementing operational change management strategies, you have high-level communication skills and experience in stakeholder engagement.

Naturally, you will demonstrate previous experience in designing and facilitating change management and training programs, along with knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodology.

Demonstrated leadership and influence, with a focus on enabling high performance, coaching, and developing others, is essential. We value innovation, commercial mindset and mature problem-solving skills.
