As a Case Planning Officer, you will manage inmates' cases, assess their risks and needs, and develop plans to reduce re-offending.
You'll work with custodial and probation officers to ensure smooth transitions from prison to the community, while promoting rehabilitation and maintaining a safe, respectful environment
As a Case Planning Officer In The Case Planning Team At Clarence Correctional Centre You'll Make a Positive Impact By
Demonstrate a commitment to Serco's values and the rehabilitation process.
Promote cultural awareness by fostering an understanding of the impact and management of diverse ethnic backgrounds, customs, and contemporary issues.
Maintains high level of integrity and ethical behaviour.
About Clarence Correctional Centre
Opened in mid-2020, this 1,700-bed state-of-the-art facility is the largest correctional Centre in Australia.
Located on the beautiful NSW North Coast approx.
6 hours' drive from Sydney and 3.5 hours from Brisbane our region offers rainforests, epic headlands, sand dunes and some of the best Australian beaches with a variety of multi-cultural cafes, restaurants, and friendly community towns.

To Be Successful In This Role You'll Have
Relevant tertiary qualification in Criminology, Social Work, Social Sciences or relevant industry experience in a similar role.
Certificate IV in Correctional Practice (Case Management) (or to be completed within the first 12 months of employment)
Experience in case management and/or rehabilitation and reintegration practice.
Exposure to the Criminal Justice System or similar human services
Demonstrate a competent level of computer literacy and report writing
Proficient interpersonal and communications skills
