**Your new company**

Join a care focused Federal Government Department in the Procurement and Corporate Services branch located in Canberra City. Your role will be a team membership position providing administration support and undertaking research.

**Your new role**

You have an interest in working independently within a team and are a confident decision maker. The position will provide administrative support and initial drafting of procurement related documentation. You will be required to undertake research and analysis activities resulting in contributions to team procurement objectives.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Undertaking research and analysis activities and drafting initial documentation to support simple to complex procurements.
- Providing administrative support to the Procurement team.
- Initiating drafting of procurement related documentation.
- Entering, extracting and manipulating data to enable accurate Agency reporting.
- Contributing to team planning activities and identifying opportunities for improvements.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Strong administrative experience
- Willingness to learn and adapt
- Problem-solving and self-management skills
- Prior SAP ESSentials and Government experience desired

**What you'll get in return**

This is an hourly rate contract role for an initial period of 12 months with the possibility of extension. Contracting rates can be offered at $43 + super per hour.
