**About the team**

The People Branch is responsible for centralised human resource services to the FWO. They develop and implement a range of people strategies across the agency that drive high performance, and make FWO an inclusive and attractive place to work.

The workforce capability function is a section within the People branch that is responsible for the establishment of strategies and outcomes that support the ongoing development of competence and skill across the agency to enable the delivery of its operational requirements. Building workforce capability is not just about training and learning, it requires a holistic and integrated approach across the employee lifecycle to ensure the workforce is capable of delivering its requirements today and into the future.

**About the role**

You will be creative, focussed on the achievement of learning outcomes, and experienced in the design of face to face and online learning content, assessment activities and evaluation resources.

**Accountabilities and responsibilities**
- Design and develop online and face to face course content for internal audiences, using a contemporary approach to design, delivery, evaluation and impact assessment.
- Create high-quality learning courses, including interactive resources, summative and formative assessments, and screen capture tutorials that achieve intended learning outcomes.
- Create engaging learning that achieves the learning outcomes identified in partnership with the learning program designer and other stakeholders.
- Building, engaging, informational, and visually compelling learning experiences.
- Working across the agency and within the capability team to ensure that all training materials are consistent, up-to-date, and align to agency wide learning strategies.
- Thoroughly test and evaluate the learner experience upon implementation of the course
- Establishing positive relationships with SMEs and other partners to ensure learning experiences are designed to improve learner outcomes.

**Selection Criteria**
- You will be comfortable working in a complex environment, and have the capacity to distil core issues from complex information, and condense content into simple, concise terms to support learning.
- Sound knowledge of eLearning and adult learning principles, and have experience designing and developing appropriate methods for learning and assessment both online and face-face.
- Proven experience in working with relevant systems and software to support the development of storyboards, videos and online content including Articulate Storyline and Rise, Adobe Creative Suite or similar.
- Experience working with Learning Management Systems, in particular Moodle.
- Excellent interpersonal and professional communication skills to enable collaboration across the Agency.
- Sound time management and project management skills, preferably in agile product development methodology.
