You will be responsible for working on our existing leasing portfolio and sourcing new site opportunities. Having a clear understanding of leasing requirements is paramount. Build and maintain key relationships, negotiate for optimal lease terms and ensure compliance.

**Key Responsibilities include**:

- Identify and negotiate leasing opportunities
- Develop and foster good working relationships with all leasing agents
- Proactive management of all leasing activities (including lease restructures, new leases and renewal where appropriate)
- Communicate with other departments, agents and other parties on transactions, key
handover, expected store openings and other integral dates
- Analyse and provide a recommendation for each leasing transaction in comparison
with key metrics such as budget, valuation, and current market
- Use initiative in maximising the income and value for the portfolio whilst considering
the impact on the valuation and budget for each transaction
- Providing advice to senior management on planning and promoting future opportunities
- Completing research on proposed sites which demonstrates financial viability and
sales forecasting
- Review all aspects of occupancy costs (Base rent, outgoings, extended trade and
other costs) for payment
- Any other duties as required by your Manager or the Company

**In order to be successful you must have**:

- Experience in a similar role
- Proven ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
- Strong understanding of leasing agreements and government standards
- Great negotiation skill set & attention to detail
- Willingness to travel as required
- Ability to perform critical lease document administration and management functions
- Tertiary qualification in Finance, Economics or Business Management (not essential but highly regarded)
