The role :
As a Tenancy Delivery Manager, you will lead and manage the tenancy delivery process / fit-out from concept to completion for a major retail client partner.
This involves ensuring high-quality outcomes, highlighting opportunities during approval, and ensuring compliance with standards.
You need to be flexible and adaptable to resolve complex issues, leveraging your expertise to oversee the process in line with the Tenancy Design Guide and Fit Out Manual.
A key part of the role is ensuring all stakeholders meet commitments within timeframes and budgets while maintaining safety standards on site.
Key responsibilities :
Ensure tenant fit-out timelines align with centre opening targets and lease start dates.
Monitor compliance with approved designs and quality standards during construction.
Conduct final inspections and obtain necessary certifications, such as occupancy certificates, before tenant opening, and manage defect resolution.
Act as the main liaison between retailers, leasing teams, and centre management to facilitate communication and resolve issues.
Manage Landlord Works delivery within agreed timeframes and budgets.
Ensure on-site works comply with SWMS, legislation, contractor requirements, and shopping centre guidelines.
Provide post-handover support for tenant concerns or operational issues.
Who are we looking for?
Minimum of 5 years' experience managing large-scale retail or commercial fit-out projects.
Strong knowledge of tenancy design, fit-out processes, and sustainability practices.
Understanding of Australian building codes, accessibility standards, and legislation.
Proficiency in design software and project management tools is preferred.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and industry best practices.
Ability to manage and coordinate multiple parties effectively.
