Best BM is seeking a resilient and results-driven Sales Representative to join our growing team. This full-time role is ideal for an entrepreneurial professional with a strong track record in B2B retail sales who thrives on relationship building and market expansion.
**Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Organise sales visits with existing and potential customers to drive revenue growth.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to penetrate new accounts.
- Maintain regular contact with clients to ensure excellent service and account management.
- Work closely with the director to develop targeted sales & marketing strategies.
- Present and pitch business opportunities during fortnightly meetings.
- Monitor industry trends and identify potential new products in the market.
- Negotiate pricing with customers within pre-approved guidelines.
- Provide insightful market intelligence, analysing competitors and crafting counterstrategies.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and foster long-term relationships to drive repeat business.
- Educate retailers on effective in-store merchandising and promotional strategies.
**Experience & Attributes**:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in B2B sales, ideally in the sanitary ware or home improvement sector.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills to engage and convert independent retailers.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to find alternative routes to market and navigate supply chain challenges.
- Proven ability to manage customer accounts and expand market share.
- Self-motivated, independent worker with a proactive approach to business development.
- Ability to manage retailer expectations regarding stock availability and product delivery.
- Strong understanding of pricing models in a competitive, margin-sensitive market.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills to establish trust and loyalty with customers.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within Melbourne and surrounding areas.
- Professional personal presentation and ability to represent the brand with confidence.
