Since 1978, Puopolo has been producing authentic Italian smallgoods. From humble beginnings in Geelong, servicing locals with the finest salumi, to now producing quality smallgoods for both the foodservice and retail industry, across Australia. With the business growing, we are looking for a new sales representative to join the Puopolo family and team.

Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Sales Representative based in Melbourne, VIC, with the majority of time being spent on the road visiting customers across Victoria. The Sales Representative will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with customers and identifying new sales opportunities. Day-to-day tasks include visiting clients, providing product information, creating sales strategies, ensuring customer accounts are up-to-date and overall customer satisfaction. Some weekend event participation is required throughout the year (approx. 4-5 events). Head office is based in Laverton North. Immediate start available.

Qualifications

  • Min. 3 years proven experience in sales (ideally F&B)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to identify and implement effective sales strategies
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience in the foodservice or retail industry is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel (Victoria only)
  • Understanding of the smallgoods market and product knowledge is advantageous
