The Role
Based in our Mount Waverley office with hybrid working, we are seeking an Accounts Receivable Officer to join the team in a full-time permanent position.
In this role, you will provide billing and collection services to the business, whilst ensuring an absolute commitment to the delivery of professional, caring and friendly services to patients and customers.
Some of your responsibilities will include and are not limited to:

- Ensure daily accounts receivable tasks are completed including filing patient refund paperwork, reviewing returned mail, contacting Medicare to confirm details
- Accurate and timely receipting of cheques, credit cards and related payments
- Collecting outstanding or overdue invoices
- Handle inbound and outbound telephone queries
- Ensure that all patient and inter-departmental enquiries are handled in accordance with the current I-MED policy

Why you?
To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience within an Accounts Receivable position, ideally within the healthcare industry. You will have a high level of attention to detail and ability to work toward deadlines.
