About the Role
Are you a skilled** Horticulturist, Landscape Gardener, or Groundskeeper** with a passion for maintaining beautiful, functional outdoor spaces?
Join The Tops Conference Centre—part of Fresh Hope Communities—where we turn ordinary moments into extraordinary experiences. Located on over 200 acres of breathtaking bushland at Stanwell Tops, our site features state-of-the-art conference facilities, immersive outdoor adventure programs, and welcoming spaces for schools, churches, and community groups.
You will lead the care, presentation, and enhancement of our expansive gardens, landscapes, and natural surrounds—supporting guest comfort, outdoor programs, and the long-term preservation of our native environment
In this hands-on role, you will:
- Care for and maintain expansive gardens, lawns, and natural landscapes across our stunning 200-acre site]
- Carry out seasonal planting, pruning, fertilizing, and weed management
- Support irrigation, drainage, fencing, and landscape construction tasks
- Ensure the upkeep of car parks, water features, pools, and stormwater systems
- Ensure horticultural best practices are followed for sustainability, soil health, pest management, and plant care
- Work collaboratively with the grounds and maintenance teams to monitor outdoor safety hazards, enhance outdoor spaces, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement for schools, churches, and community groups.
- Contribute to the creation of a safe, welcoming, and rejuvenating environment for all guests
**What You Bring**
Whether you come from a landscaping, horticulture, or groundskeeping background, your hands-on gardening skills and attention to detail will help maintain and enhance our beautiful outdoor spaces
- Qualification and experience in horticulture or groundskeeping
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Confidence and physical fitness to manage a hands-on, active outdoor role along with using power tools and outdoor machinery safely and effectively
- Proven hands-on gardening and landscaping experience
- A strong eye for detail and pride in maintaining natural beauty
