**About the Program**
Join our vibrant team providing innovative disability services to individuals and families on the Northern Beaches of Sydney.

The role of Area Coordinator will report to the General Manager Disability Futures and will be responsible for leading a team of highly committed and energetic staff delivering a variety of programs and one-on-one supports for people living with a disability.

**What this role is responsible for**:

- Providing positive leadership to staff and participants.
- Developing and maintaining positive, engaged relationships with clients and families, other service providers and agencies.
- Establishing new programs and services that create opportunities for clients to pursue their goals, develop their skills, and have fun
- Ensuring all programs and activities are delivered in accordance with the NDIS practice standards
- Ensuring programs and services operate safely and are financially viable.

**The key requirements for this role include**:

- Team leadership experience in a service-oriented environment community services
- Disability sector experience is essential. Must be customer (client) focused and adept at understanding the needs of clients and designing programs and services in conjunction with the clients and staff to deliver what the clients want
- Ability to plan and implement new and innovative programs.
- Be strongly focused on supporting and empowering your team.
- Strong relationship building, negotiation skills and time management.
- Sound budget management skills and financial literacy.
