Our Joint Strike Fighter F35 team have an exciting opportunity for an F-35 Capability Activation Co-Ordinator to join the Aerospace business based in Williamtown, NSW. We are seeking an energetic and passionate individual who can develop and manage project schedules, work effectively and confidently within a project team environment and who can represent BAE Systems in a professional and ethical manner.

**Your new role**:
The F-35 Capability Activation Co-Ordinator will join a growing team that is responsible for mobilising the completed facility expansion of the BAE Systems capability for Joint Strike Fighter F35. This is a newly formed position in the early phase of the program's expansion, and will work closely with the F35 Capability Activation Manager to support the mobilisation and delivery of projects from activation through to operational readiness. You will have a foundational understanding of Project Management with the ability to develop and manage project schedules and coordinate project tasks with effective verbal and written communication and a strong attention to detail.
**As an applicant for this opportunity, you'll have**:
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills, the ability to coordinate the delivery of multiple project tasks with a problem solving attitude.
- Goal orientated and action-focused
- Balance conflicting priorities to deliver against customer and business requirements, with appropriate stakeholder management
- Use and adapt written and verbal communication skills to suit a variety of difference audiences is critical to this role
- Intermediate user of MS Project and MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Key Accountabilities
- Ongoing management of the project schedule, ensuring all necessary project planning activities are captured and identifying and correcting any deviations
- Supporting in the coordination of Risk Reviews and the Project Risk Register in accordance with BAE Systems Australia's Risk Management processes
- Identifying and managing early warning of any emerging risks or developments that could have an adverse impact on the Project
- Support the manager in ensuring project requirements and objectives are properly documented in the Project Management Plan
- Facilitate communication across stakeholders, identifying any impacts to BAE Systems Australia's delivery schedule and work with stakeholders to identify and implement corrective actions.
- Establish appropriate Key Success Indicators and recommend trade-offs between scope, quality, time and cost
- Track and report progress and forecast final targets
- Document and track all changes in project parameters, obstacles and delays, and implement appropriate 'workarounds'
- Pursue best practice and align local processes and procedures as applicable
**Qualifications**:
- Certificate IV in Project Management is highly desirable
