You will be responsible for food handling, preparation, and service, always ensuring strict adherence to hygiene and Work Health and Safety (WHS) standards.
The Food Service Department serves staff, patients and visitors across the onsite cafe (SanCafe) with varied shifts and duties.
Schedule and availability Our Food Services department runs every day of the year, with shifts starting at 6.45am and finishing by 7pm.
Shifts are 4-8 hours, and you should be available to work across all days of the week to cover three shifts most weeks (no fixed days and times).
Who we are looking for Demonstrated experience using a commercial espresso coffee machine and ability to make a variety of coffees in a café or related hospitality environment.Previous experience using a Point of Sale / cash register.Outstanding people skills with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.Dedicated to providing outstanding customer service and willing to go above and beyond for customers.Well organized with the ability to prioritise workload to meet tight time schedules.Excellent awareness of food safety, hygiene and manual handling standards.Full Australian working rights.
