Job Opportunity: WHS Advisor

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team as a WHS Advisor in Canberra. This exciting opportunity will see you working closely with our colleagues to promote safe work practices and provide advice on complex health and safety matters.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage safety-related training and compliance for staff across the agency.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees, promoting safe work practices across the agency.
  • Evaluate and recommend training packages to support work health and safety.
Requirements:
  • Diverse range of experience in WHS, coupled with an outcome-based approach and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Well-developed knowledge and experience of WHS matters legislation and systematic strategy management process.
  • Relevant qualification in training and assessment, safety management, quality management and/or project management (APS5).
  • Experience in a WHS position and understanding of relevant legislations (APS6).
