**IT Service Desk Team Leader**

The IT Service Desk Team Leader role exists to manage the day-to-day operations of our IT Service Desk. This is a leadership role in an organisation with more than 3500 employees, so we require an individual who can hit the ground running, provide effective team management and rapidly build and maintain relationships across the organisation. This permanent full-time role is critical to oversee and ensure the delivery of technology services and support so that end users can focus on what matters most - the provision of exceptional care to the community.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Ensure the team is efficiently and effectively executing its operational deliverables, activities and tasks
- Act as the team escalation point, including coordinating resolution of issues across our IT teams and the business
- Support and contribute to business and IT lead projects, including facilitation of contributions from Service Desk team members
- Driving continual improvement by identify and leading change to all facets of operational service and support provided by the team.

- Leadership experience in a similar role with a proven ability to keep a team engaged and motivated
- Exception interpersonal skills with a strong ability to prioritise work
- Passion and dedication for service and support
- Experience working in an ITIL-aligned environment with knowledge of ITIL processes (particularly Incident, Service Request and Knowledge management).
