We are seeking an experienced Service Desk Manager to lead and manage a team of analysts, overseeing the day-to-day operation of our IT Service Desk.
Key Responsibilities- To provide expert advice on desktop operating system administration, including installation, upgrades, licensing, performance tuning and troubleshooting.
- Maintain a secure desktop environment free from virus corruption and unauthorized access.
- Leadership and management skills.
- Ability to make insightful decisions.
- Driving accountability and outcomes.
- Maintaining high standards of professionalism.
- Excellent communication skills.
- At least 3 years experience running a busy service desk.
- Possession of relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or related discipline.
- IP telephony management experience.
- Mobile device management experience.
- Government experience.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Service Desk Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for leading a team of Service Desk analysts, providing expert advice on desktop operating system administration, and maintaining a secure desktop environment.
The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to make insightful decisions and drive accountability and outcomes. You will also possess excellent communication skills and be able to maintain high standards of professionalism.
We are looking for someone with at least 3 years experience running a busy service desk, possession of relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or related discipline, IP telephony management experience, mobile device management experience, and government experience.
