Better Health Network provides a range of primary health and community services to people of all ages within the community. Gambler's Help Southern (GHS) has been a program of BHN. It offers a range of confidential, free services aimed at preventing or reducing the negative impacts of gambling on individuals, families and the community.
The role of Financial Counselling in the delivery of the Gambler's Help program under the funding and service agreement with Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation is integral to the wellbeing of clients who present to the service who have experienced gambling related harm. As one of our Financial Counsellors, you will work closely with members of our therapeutic team to assist both gamblers and their families to mitigate the financial impact of gambling. Our Financial Counsellors are required to deliver the full suite of financial counselling strategies and have a sound knowledge of all aspects of the role of a Financial Counsellor along with a good understanding of a range of harm mitigation strategies.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma of Community Services (Financial Counselling) or equivalent
- Current Registration with Financial Counselling Victoria
- Financial Counselling qualifications and experience (preferably in a Gambling role).
- Experience, qualifications in working with CALD or Indigenous communities would be an advantage
