The Urban Development Institute of Australia (the Institute) is a national not-for-profit organisation representing the property development industry. Established in 1971, the Queensland office is the largest of the UDIA state bodies.
Our members are property development professionals and our business is about building communities. The Institute is made up of a head office in Brisbane, complemented by 13 regional branches around the state.
About you, and the role
The Information Systems Manager will lead, develop and maintain the Institute's information systems environment with a key focus on Salesforce, ensuring it operates as a strategic business tool that supports and empowers staff, drives value for members, and supports organisational growth.
The Information Systems Manager will be responsible for:
Acting as the key architect for the Institute's Salesforce environment, ensuring its alignment with organisational objectives
Leading the continuous improvement and management of information systems to support business processes and member service delivery
Critically assessing requests for system changes, ensuring they align with business goals, add value, and maintain system integrity
Supporting staff to effectively use Salesforce, empowering them through training, documentation, and systems education
Ensuring data quality, security, and integrity within Salesforce and integrated systems
Managing and delivering information systems projects within budget and agreed timelines
Managing vendor relationships relevant to the Institute's information systems
Developing and maintaining system documentation and procedures
Contributing to strategic planning and reporting on system utilisation and improvements

Requirements
At least five years of experience management in a professional
Strong technical knowledge of Salesforce architecture, administration, and integrations is advantageous
Demonstrated ability to critically assess business needs and translate them into system solutions that add value
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Demonstrated experience in training and empowering staff to use systems effectively
High-level oral and written communication skills with an ability to communicate technical concepts clearly
Conscientious, diligent, and reliable, with a commitment to upholding the organisation's values
Ability to work independently with initiative while contributing to a collaborative team culture.
