Main Purpose:
Managing and carrying out Procurement activities across a wide range of categories and for all internal departments, to deliver the efficient procurement of day to day requirements, while ensuring appropriate Procurement Service Levels to the business.

Reports to the country Procurement Manager, and engages with key stakeholders across Puma's country operations to ensure procurement annual plans and targets are agreed and built into business plans.

Ensure category managers understand business requirements relevant to the country and that procurement strategies are fit for purpose for the country.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure the business has timely supply of goods and services through efficient sourcing activities that focus on Puma's expenditure across the country.
- Work with category managers to ensure all procurement activities (requisition management, purchase order creation, tenders and negotiation, expediting supply, benchmarking) related to the country are carried out to meet the business requirements.
- Maintain proper control on privileged information and manage documentation in approved systems and/or physical locations. Keep accurate timelines on expiration of agreements and negotiation periods.
- Conduct industry and market research to identify best opportunities for the business. Support and develop business case creation and cost/benefit analysis together with category managers, to facilitate sound business decision-making by management team.
- Participate in the coordination of special projects, or any other related special task as assigned by department manager.
- Be the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and vendors for all procurement activities.
- All other duties as directed by your Manager/s, including availability to travel.

**REQUIREMENTS**:
**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration/ Engineering, or related field from an accredited college or university preferred.
- Extensive computer skills
- MRP/ERP experience a plus

Experience, Skills & Competencies
- Minimum 3 years' experience in similar Procurement roles.
- Broad knowledge in Procurement processes, including Procure to pay, Category Management and Supplier Relationship Management and related processes.
- Business acumen, capable of understanding business/marketing strategies.
- Proficiency in developing supplier's ways of working and contract management (solid background on contract terms and conditions) at local level.
- Experience in developing mutual relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Demonstrated team player, problem solver with the ability to manage people in a complex, changing environment to deliver value-added results to the organisation.
- Use project management disciplines to structure and deliver outstanding results.
- Broad knowledge in sourcing strategies and related processes.
- Strategic thinking to drive solutions.
- Effective negotiation skills.
- Ability to work and collaborate with relevant functions across the organisation including upper levels of management, as well as with international teams and recognise cultural distinctions.
- Ability to analyse complex business models and projects for change.
- Ability to lead, manage, and deliver multiple concurrent projects, and influence others.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
