The Regional Director is a regionally aligned manager of manager positions, providing oversight to a team of Enablement Portfolio Managers, Delivery Manager and Senior Enablement Managers. The role collaborates with leadership in the development of delivery strategy and drives execution of delivery through their teams. The role is responsible for account management forecasting and utilization, client retention, regional revenue growth, and ultimately delivering against the business financial goals. The Regional Director is accountable for service delivery for deployment and ongoing optimization service, advocates best practice methodology and has strategic vision and is a forward thinker.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage a team of Enablement Portfolio Managers, Senior Enablement Portfolio Managers, and Senior Enablement Managers in the delivery of the aligned platform (Workday) Services to a regionally based portfolio of clients; responsible for all related people management tasks and support related HR processes
- Drive strategic client conversations to strengthen partnership and grow existing relationships. The Regional Director will do this in collaboration with Leadership & aligned Enablement Managers & Enablement Portfolio Managers.
- Coordinate with Leadership and other Regional Directors to ensure service delivery & process consistency across all Recurring & Event Services portfolios
- Champion product & process education to equip the Enablement Management family in region with the knowledge & skills they need to successfully consult with our clients in order to drive revenue & relationship growth
- Collaborate with others in defining service delivery processes & driving service delivery process improvement, consistency & clarity across the business.
- Collaborate with other teams both within the aligned platform (Workday, Oracle Cloud, SAP, etc. Integrations & Configuration) and outside (Sales, Solutions, CDS, etc.) in continuously refining the Service Delivery Model
- Takes the initiative to improve ways of working both within the Practice and on projects
- Collaborates with global RDs within ProServe, is an active member of ProServe Client Mgmt. Leadership team
- Foster a mindset of client consulting within the team to drive growth in existing client relationships & expand opportunities
- Partner with the Resource Manager to ensure Enablement Management capacity is effectively managed
- Lead strategic initiatives to improve overall service delivery, internal governance, client satisfaction & revenue growth
- Provide senior leadership as a key escalation point for external clients & internal partners supported by aligned Enablement Portfolio & Enablement Managers
- Represents Alight at country and regional level in alliance/customer base and QBR discussions with Workday leaders. Liaises with Alight Workday Sales leaders across full region
- Approver and signatory for deals, COs, and SOWs - within MGT thresholds
- Collaborates with peers in Asia, US and EMEA to ensure global ways of working and knowledge sharing
- Provides advice and guidance to help develop expertise for all consultants of all abilities
- Leads from the front regarding methodology best practice
- Stays abreast of the Workday Roadmap for the Practice area
**Knowledge, Education, Certification, Skills & Technical Proficiencies**
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in technical, business, or financial discipline
- Application Certification in Human Capital Management (HCM), Payroll and / or Financials is not a requirement of the role, but preferred.
- Develops new insights into situations, develops ideas and solutions from same and effectively communicates and persuades colleagues to apply
- Ability to effectively and clearly interface, build trust and credibility with colleagues, aligned platform (Workday) and clients
- Recognizes and tackles difficult conversations proactively; strong soft skills that facilitate resolution and win-win approach
- Strong communication skills including the ability to synthesize information into clear, concise messages
- Proven consultative skills to guide client and internal discussions to agreement of solutions in a timely manner
- Experience implementing complex, practical business solutions under multiple deadlines
- Able to prioritize and organize increasingly complex work to ensure overall timeliness and quality standards; adept at managing multiple clients and multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to frequent change
- Proven experience working creatively and analytically in a dynamic environment
- Demonstrates advanced experience with Excel and PowerPoint
- Exhibits problem-solving skills, including troubleshooting issues and escalating as appropriate
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including clear articulation of complex messages and requirements
