Join us as a Foundational Lead Reformer & Mat Pilates Instructor_**

We are excited to go live with 2 brand new, state-of-the-art Pilates studios in the coming months, and we're looking for experienced and qualified Reformer and Mat Pilates Instructors to join this dynamic team and growing company

**About You**

To be successful in this role, you will require a blend of technical expertise, leadership abilities, and communication skills to manage classes and mentor other instructors. Personally, you will be a positive, reliable, team player, with a drive to be better every day and a passion helping others.

**Key Requirements**

**Certifications & Education**:

- Comprehensive Pilates certification (e.g., STOTT, BASI, Polestar, or Balanced Body) including mat and Reformer training.
- Additional certifications in specialised Pilates modalities like Barre, Pre/Post-natal, Breathwork, or Pilates for rehabilitation, functional training are highly regarded.
- First Aid & CPR certification.
- Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or a related field (optional but beneficial).

**Experience**:

- 3+ years of teaching experience, ideally in a leadership role.
- Technical Proficiency, deep knowledge of Pilates principles, reformer equipment, and mat techniques.
- Strong understanding of injury prevention and rehabilitation exercises.
- Experience managing or mentoring other instructors.
- A background in fitness, dance, or physical therapy can be a bonus.

**Class Management**:

- Ability to lead group classes (15 beds) for various levels (beginner to advanced).
- Expertise in adapting exercises to accommodate injuries, fitness goals, or special populations.

**Communication & Client Interaction**:

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with clients and motivating them.
- Ability to give clear verbal and tactile cues to ensure proper form and technique.

**Leadership & Mentorship**:

- Experience mentoring instructors, providing feedback, and fostering professional development.
- Able to create a positive, team-oriented environment within the studio.

**Administrative Skills**:

- Scheduling classes, managing client bookings, and ensuring smooth studio operations.
- Knowledge of Pilates studio management software (e.g., MindBody).

**Physical Fitness & Knowledge**:

- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics related to Pilates.
- Ability to demonstrate exercises effectively and maintain personal fitness.
