Position Details:
Full-time / 40 hours
1st shift
Summary:
Performs a variety of housekeeping duties throughout the hospital, including functions requiring specialized machines and techniques.
Minimum Qualifications:
Ability to understand and follow directions.
Ability to work well within a team environment, supporting team goals and collaborating with patient care team members.
Ability to create a patient care environment focused on needs and expectations.
Ability to take initiative and contribute beyond formal duties.
Exposure to odors, feces, blood, etc., and to risks such as falls, strains, contagious diseases, and exposure to cleaning chemicals.
Effective communication skills, including electronic methods.
Population-specific competency to interact respectfully with diverse patient populations.
Physical demands include exerting 25-50 pounds frequently, standing/walking for extended periods, and performing medium to heavy lifting and moving tasks.
Compensation and Benefits:
Starting hourly rate: $15.77 - $19.85, based on experience and location.
