Waste Management Specialist Opportunity

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and delivering projects focused on waste management, including landfill design, engineered containment systems, geosynthetic applications, and resource recovery solutions.">">

  • Designing and developing sustainable waste management strategies">
  • Leading multidisciplinary project teams to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget">
  • Collaborating with clients to understand their needs and provide innovative solutions">
  • Mentoring junior engineers to develop their skills and knowledge">
  • Staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices">
">We are looking for an experienced professional with a tertiary qualification in civil, geotechnical, or environmental engineering and over 7 years of relevant industry experience. You will bring:">

  • Extensive experience in designing and developing waste management strategies">
  • Strong technical expertise in waste management, including landfill design and operation, waste minimization, and waste reduction">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders">
  • Proven leadership and project management skills, with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex projects">
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to waste management">
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach, with a commitment to innovation and continuous improvement">
